Hello my Bread Friend!

Are you into brioche breads? If so, how do you like it?

I have (until now!) never been a brioche person.. There’s something about the consistency and then the overly sweet bread that makes me cringe when paired with savory meals. Even though it still brings up happy childhood memories of family summer parties in the US with overly sweet hotdog buns and tuna sandwiches — all that added sugar is not necessary to make a GREAT tasting brioche bread.

And this is where my sourdough version will win you over!

The sourdough brings a slight tanginess that elevates this bread and pairs it perfectly with sweet as well as savory toppings, without stealing the focus!
